Job Description
Job Overview We are looking for a friendly, professional, and skilled dental assistant with full-time availability to join our awesome, team-oriented, private family practice! No weekends and we close at 5:00 or earlier every day. If you have any questions don't hesitate to reach out! Hourly pay depending on experience and skill level. This topic can be addressed in the interview meeting. Responsibilities Follow OSHA and HIPAA protocols and guidelines at all times Welcome patients in the dental office Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort Select and set up instruments, equipment, and materials needed Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry Perform expanded dental functions Take diagnostic digital dental x-rays Review post-operative care instructions with patients Keep operatories clean and well-stocked Schedule follow-up appointments Take and record blood pressure Instrument sterilization Help with equipment and lab maintenance duties Help with patient lab case maintenance protocol Light household duties Desired Skills Self-motivated Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods Understanding of health & safety regulations Excellent communication and people skills Attention to detail Well-organized and great multi-tasker Timely, reliable attendance Works well as a team-player High school diploma, graduating from dental assistant school is preferred but not necessary
