Summary of Position:
Assistants work within the Dental Hygiene sterilization area.
Position Requirements:
Prefer someone that is going into dental hygiene field.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Autoclaves for proper sterilization of dental instruments
  • Stocking supplies
  • Assisting students in the clinic areas with proper sterile techniques and all supplies needed before, during and after patient treatment
  • Keeping all clinical areas clean.
  • Knowledge of OSHA
  • Filing of MSDS Sheets
  • Understanding of blood borne pathogens
