Job Description
Mortimer Family Dentistry is a team of superior professionals dedicated to achieving the highest level of excellence while caring for the physical and emotional well-being of ourselves, our families, and our patients. We are looking for a dental assistant who is professional, adaptive, helpful, friendly, and positive. Our office hours are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Wednesday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m; Every other Friday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. This position is for a part time role that is flexible on Monday and Tuesdays, and dedicated on Wednesday (10am-7pm) and Thursday (8am-5pm)
Expectations:
- Dental experience is encouraged
- Chairside assistant with four-handed dentistry
- Set up, stock, and clean operatories
- Sterilize instruments
- Certified to take x-rays, or willing to become certified
- Take alginate impressions; pour and trim models
- Complete digital charts using Eaglesoft software
