Job Description

CHAIRSIDE DENTAL ASSISTANT
Experience is necessary for this position. Applicants need good working knowledge in the areas of restorative, endodontic and oral surgical procedures. Great team support and spirit. 3 days/week. We are looking for a motivated, dependable, and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our dental team. Our practice provides a wide range of care, including general dentistry, oral surgery, and dental implant procedures , offering an exciting opportunity for an assistant who enjoys a variety of clinical responsibilities and wants to expand their skills. The ideal candidate is a team player who takes pride in providing excellent patient care, maintaining a positive attitude, and helping patients feel comfortable and confident throughout their dental experience.
Responsibilities include:
Assisting the dentist with general dentistry procedures Assisting with oral surgery and surgical procedures Assisting with dental implant placement and related procedures Preparing treatment rooms, instruments, and materials Taking and developing dental X-rays as permitted by state regulations Sterilizing and maintaining instruments and operatory areas Providing patient education and post-operative instructions Supporting patient flow and maintaining an organized, efficient schedule Helping with impressions, lab procedures, and temporary restorations as needed Providing a friendly and professional experience for every patient What we're looking for: Previous dental assisting experience preferred Experience with oral surgery or implants is a plus Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills Compassionate and professional chairside manner Ability to work well independently and as part of a team Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities Dependable, positive, and patient-focused Salary based on experience.
