Job Description

Dental Assistant / Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) Join our fast-paced specialty dental practice! We are a busy, fast paced specialty office dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care through professional excellence, technical expertise, and compassionate service. We specialize in Endodontics and Implant dentistry , and we are looking for a skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team. While a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification is highly preferred , we are fully willing to train the right candidate who possesses the right drive, energy, dependability and foundational skills.
Key Responsibilities Chairside Assisting:
Perform efficient four-handed dentistry techniques to support the provider, optimize workflow, and ensure maximum patient comfort during specialized procedures.
Patient Care & Education:
Guide patients through their visits by explaining treatment procedures, answering questions, and providing clear, compassionate post-treatment care instructions.
Radiography & Imaging:
Capture high-quality digital dental X-rays and utilize advanced medical imaging technology (including 3D scanners) while strictly adhering to radiation safety protocols.
Clinical Preparation:
Sterilize instruments, set up necessary supplies, and meticulously prepare treatment rooms in alignment with healthcare infection control standards to prevent cross-contamination.
Records Management:
Accurately record treatment notes and manage clinical data within our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, strictly maintaining HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
Qualifications & Experience Experience:
Prior experience working in a high-volume dental environment is highly preferred, with specific familiarity in Endodontics and Implant dentistry considered a major asset.
Technical Skills:
Strong foundational knowledge of dental terminology, oral anatomy, and standard clinical assisting techniques.
Technical Proficiency:
Hands-on experience navigating EMR software and a proven comfort level learning advanced dental technologies.
Safety & Compliance:
Demonstrated understanding of infection prevention, sterilization protocols, and dental X-ray safety guidelines.
Core Competencies:
Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the multitasking ability required to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Education:
Certification or formal training from an accredited dental assisting program is preferred. Why Choose Us?
