Job Description
Position Summary:
Family-owned dental practice searching for a talented and enthusiastic assistant to add to the team. We are looking for an individual that has some experience with dental assisting and is comfortable working in a team environment. This role would primarily involve working chairside with the doctor and providing care to patients directly.
Assigned Duties:
- Provide information and instructions to the patient
- Prepare treatment rooms following prescribed procedures and protocols
- Assisting the dentist with all aspects of treatment within permitted scope
- Making appropriate diagnostic radiographs
- Helping with scheduling as needed
- Coordinating with dental laboratories
- Helping the team maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Overseeing sterilization of dental instruments according to OSHA standards
- Additional duties as assigned
Additional Skills/Experience:
- Experience preferred, but all experience levels encouraged to apply
- Comfortable with technology
Compensation:
- $15•28 hourly based on experience level (negotiable)•Benefits available to full time position•
PTO, Health Insurance, Paid Holidays Availability/Hours:
- Two days per week (negotiable)
- Thursday-Friday 730am-1pm, 2pm-5pm
