Job Description

We are a growing dental office seeking a motivated and dependable Dental Assistant . This is a great opportunity for candidates with little dental assisting experience or recent graduates looking to gain hands-on clinical experience in a supportive environment. We welcome ambitious, self-motivated individuals eager to learn and build their skills . This role focuses on assisting the dentist, supporting the dental hygiene team, and managing sterilization. We're looking for someone committed to a long-term career in dental assisting and excited to grow with our practice .
Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist chairside and support dental hygiene. Properly clean, organize, and sterilize instruments and operatories. Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after procedures. Take dental X-rays (as permitted by state regulations). Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation. Follow strict infection control, bloodborne pathogen, OSHA, and HIPAA compliance protocols.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of infection control standards, bloodborne pathogen precautions, OSHA safety requirements, and HIPAA compliance. Team-oriented with excellent communication skills. Familiarity with the Universal tooth numbering system and dental surfaces. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Positive attitude and strong work ethic. Willingness to learn and grow in a clinical setting.
