Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. We have a beautiful modern office, a wonderful patient population, an enthusiastic team, and a sincere dentist dedicated to quality care. We would love to have you join our team! The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, provide excellent patient care, and maintain dental equipment and supplies.

Duties:

• Prepare patients for dental procedures
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
• Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs
• Ensure patients are comfortable before, during, and after treatment
• Take and develop dental x-rays
• Educate patients on proper oral healthcare
• Maintain accurate patient records

Qualifications:

• Completion of a dental assistant program or equivalent experience
• X-ray certification preferred
• Knowledge of Eaglesoft a plus
• Familiarity with medical documentation and terminology
• Understanding of dental assisting procedures and protocols
• Experience in pediatric dentistry is advantageous
• Proficiency in medical coding and billing procedures
• Knowledge of medical imaging techniques
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding patient information
