Job Description

We are looking for a caring, positive, patient-centered dental assistant to join our team.
Office hours:
Monday-Wednesday 8-5 and Thursday 7-2 Job duties to include but not limited to:
  • Educating and preparing patients for dental treatment
  • Helping patients feel comfortable and providing great patient care
  • Collecting and recording medical histories and patient vital signs
  • Assisting the dentist during general practice procedures (surgery, endo, restorative, etc).
  • Maintain infection control by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, setting up procedures, and preparing materials.
  • Helping front desk and hygiene as needed.
  • Taking radiographs
  • Taking dental impressions and digital scans
  • Lab work-Trim and pour diagnostic models, custom impression trays bleach trays and adjust removable prosthesis.
  • Managing OSHA requirements
  • Maintain a courteous, helpful attitude with patients and co-workers
  • Assist dentist in managing medical and dental emergencies when necessary
  • Assist co-workers as necessary
