Job Description
We are looking for a caring, positive, patient-centered dental assistant to join our team.
Office hours:
Monday-Wednesday 8-5 and Thursday 7-2 Job duties to include but not limited to:- Educating and preparing patients for dental treatment
- Helping patients feel comfortable and providing great patient care
- Collecting and recording medical histories and patient vital signs
- Assisting the dentist during general practice procedures (surgery, endo, restorative, etc).
- Maintain infection control by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, setting up procedures, and preparing materials.
- Helping front desk and hygiene as needed.
- Taking radiographs
- Taking dental impressions and digital scans
- Lab work-Trim and pour diagnostic models, custom impression trays bleach trays and adjust removable prosthesis.
- Managing OSHA requirements
- Maintain a courteous, helpful attitude with patients and co-workers
- Assist dentist in managing medical and dental emergencies when necessary
- Assist co-workers as necessary
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$18.00- $22.
