Full-Time, Monday-Thursday Pay:
$18.00-$25.00 per hour, based on experience An established, modern dental office in Royal Oak is seeking a dependable and motivated dental assistant to join our friendly, experienced team. Previous dental assisting experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate who has a positive attitude, strong work ethic and basic familiarity with a dental office. Schedule Monday through Thursday, approximately 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Responsibilities Provide chairside assistance using efficient four-handed dentistry techniques Anticipate the dentist's needs throughout procedures Prepare and turn over treatment rooms Take digital X-rays, impressions and digital scans Follow sterilization, infection-control, OSHA and HIPAA procedures Help patients feel comfortable and well cared for Preferred Qualifications Dental assisting experience or basic knowledge of dental terminology and procedures Experience with four-handed dentistry, or a willingness to learn Familiarity with digital X-rays, CAD/CAM technology and digital scanning Experience with Invisalign or airway and sleep-related dentistry is a plus Dependable, detail-oriented and able to work well with a team
