Dental Assistant

Greater Michigan Oral Surgeons & Dental Implant Center is seeking a Surgical Assistant to join our growing teams in Saginaw, Bay City, and Midland. As our practice continues to expand, we are looking for dependable, motivated individuals who maintain a high level of professionalism and thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care from the first consultation through post-operative recovery.

Candidates must be able to remain composed in emergency or high-pressure situations and follow all established safety and emergency protocols carefully. Key Responsibilities Review and document patient medical histories Apply monitoring equipment and monitor vital signs Assist surgeons during procedures including extractions, biopsies, and dental implant surgeries by passing instruments, maintaining airways, and providing suction as needed Accurately chart procedures and maintain detailed patient records Take radiographs and perform cone beam CT scans Educate patients on pre-operative and post-operative instructions Support additional direct and indirect patient care duties as assigned Qualifications Previous dental assisting experience is not required. We are happy to train enthusiastic individuals who are eager to learn, grow professionally, and become part of our team. Schedule & Requirements Office hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Surgical assistants must be available to begin as early as 6:30 a.m. for daily setup and preparation Candidates must be willing to travel between our Saginaw, Bay City, and Midland offices as needed Thank you for your interest in joining Greater Michigan Oral Surgeons & Dental Implant Center.
