Orthodontic Assistant Michigan Family Orthodontics Location:
Clawson, Sterling Heights, Mount Clemons MI 21-28hrs/ week Join Our Growing Team! Michigan Family Orthodontics is looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate, and motivated Orthodontic Assistant to join our patient-centered practice. We are passionate about creating beautiful smiles while providing an exceptional experience for every patient who walks through our doors. We are seeking someone who is energetic, dependable, and enjoys working with both children and adults in a fun, positive environment. Whether you're an experienced orthodontic assistant or a dental assistant looking to grow into orthodontics, we'd love to meet you! Responsibilities Assist the orthodontist during patient appointments Take digital scans, photographs, and radiographs Place and remove orthodontic appliances under doctor supervision Provide patient education on oral hygiene and appliance care Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control standards Prepare treatment rooms and ensure a smooth patient flow Maintain accurate patient records Help create a welcoming, friendly atmosphere for every patient Qualifications Dental Assisting experience required Orthodontic experience preferred but willing to train the right candidate Current Radiography Certification (or ability to obtain) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Positive attitude and strong work ethic Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask Reliable, punctual, and a team player What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Uniform allowance Employee orthodontic treatment benefits A supportive team culture that values kindness, growth, and work-life balance Why Michigan Family Orthodontics?
