We are looking for a motivated, personable, and dependable Periodontal Dental Assistant to join our team. Whether you already have surgical experience or are looking to grow your skills in periodontics, this is a great opportunity to learn, contribute, and become part of a specialty practice. Key Duties Assist the doctor during new patient examinations and periodontal and surgical procedures. Take digital radiographs and CT scans. Take digital impressions and assist with digital workflows. Assist with patient care during post-operative and follow-up visits. Educate patients on post-operative care and maintaining optimal periodontal health. Prepare and send clinical reports and documentation to referring offices. Set up, prepare, and maintain treatment and surgical rooms. Maintain clinical supplies and assist with inventory and ordering. Follow infection control, OSHA, and radiation safety protocols. Experience Excellent communication and active listening skills. Ability to help calm and reassure anxious patients. Positive attitude and a genuine willingness to learn and grow. Adaptable and comfortable learning new technologies, techniques, and workflows. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Dental assisting experience preferred; periodontal, oral surgery, or surgical experience is a plus. Knowledge of dental infection control standards and protocols required. Minnesota Licensed Dental Assistant or qualified to perform dental radiography in Minnesota.
Pay:
$30.00 - $37.00 per hourBenefits:
