Job Description
Job Overview Are you passionate about surgery and eager to learn more about gum treatments? Our practice is the ideal place for you! We are looking for a motivated, personable, and eager-to-learn Periodontal Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team. If you're interested, send us your resume and a brief introduction. We look forward to meeting you! Key Duties Assist the doctor during new patient exams and surgical procedures. Take CT scans proficiently. Experienced in taking digital impressions. Monitor patient healing during follow-up visits. Educate patients on maintaining optimal periodontal health. Prepare and send reports and documentation to referring offices. Manage supply orders and maintain inventory. Set up and oversee clinical rooms for procedures. Perform radiographic imaging and ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols as the designated Radiology Officer. Experience Excellent communication and active listening skills. Ability to calm and reassure anxious patients. Strong enthusiasm for learning new knowledge and skills. Adaptability to new technologies and a passion for ongoing learning. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Dental assisting experience preferred; periodontal, oral surgery, or surgical experience is a plus. Familiarity with infection control standards specific to dental practices is required.
Pay:
$30.00 - $37.00 per hourBenefits:
