Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Expanded Function Dental Assistant to work at a facility in Hopkins, MN .
Pay Rate:
$36 / hour
Duties:
Job Summary:
As an EFDA, you will play a key role in enhancing the efficiency and quality of care by performing advanced clinical duties under the supervision of our dentists. You will contribute directly to the patient experience through technical skills and compassionate care. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a hands-on, surgical setting and is passionate about patient safety, comfort, and high-quality care.
Job Responsibilities:
Place and finish dental restorations(fillings) after the dentist prepares the tooth. Take accurate impressions for temporary crowns, bridges, and diagnostic models. Fabricate and place temporary crowns and bridges. Perform coronal polishing and fluoride treatments. Apply sealants and desensitizing agents as directed. Assist the dentist during procedures, including restorative, prosthodontic, and endodontic treatments. Take and process radiographs. Maintain proper infection control and sterilization standards. Provide clear post-treatment instructions to patients. Charts treatment notes accurately and assist with updating patient records. Monitor inventory and prepare trays for procedures. Support front office team with patient flow and case coordination when needed.

Required Skills & Experience:
-One (1) - two (2) years of dental assisting experience required. Strong knowledge of restorative procedures and materials. Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.

EFDA experience.
