Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Orthodontic Chair-side, Clinical Assistant to join our dynamic orthodontic practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional support during orthodontic procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience. This role requires a professional with strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality orthodontic care. Prior experience in orthodontics, particularly with advanced protocols such as MARPE/TAD and airway-focused practices, is highly preferred. The successful candidate will be trained in specialized protocols if motivated and eager to expand their expertise. Responsibilities Assist the orthodontist chair-side during various orthodontic procedures, including placement and adjustment of appliances, brackets, and wires. Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments to maintain a safe and efficient clinical environment. Operate imaging equipment (on-site training) Provide patient education on orthodontic care, appliance maintenance, and post-treatment instructions. Manage patient records accurately, including documenting procedures and updates in the electronic health record system. Knowledge of Tops software is a plus. Ensure patient comfort throughout appointments by providing support and reassurance. Maintain inventory of dental supplies and notify management when reordering is necessary. Adhere to all safety protocols, infection control standards, and OSHA regulations. Support the team with administrative tasks as needed to ensure seamless clinic operations. Qualifications Minimum of 2-3 years of dedicated orthodontic chair-side experience preferred. Prior experience or advanced training with

protocols and airway-focused practice philosophies is highly preferred (training available for highly motivated candidates). Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) per state guidelines preferred. Demonstrated technical proficiency in dental assisting procedures relevant to orthodontics. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
