Full-time ranked Non-Tenure Track OR Tenure-Track Eligible at the rank of Assistant Clinical Professor/ Associate Clinical Professor (NTT) or Assistant Professor (TT) of Dental Hygiene The UMKC Division of Dental Hygiene prepares students to become competent, adaptable oral health professionals who actively contribute to improving the public's oral health. As the only program in Missouri to award a baccalaureate degree in dental hygiene, and part of our state's only public dental school, we offer a long-standing, community-focused education that equips graduates to plan, implement, and evaluate dental hygiene care for populations across the lifespan. Our graduates are prepared for success in clinical practice, education, public health, hospital programs, and school-based settings, and they join an alumni network that includes roughly half of all practicing dentists in Missouri. Clinical Associate Professor:
Candidates must possess a Master's Degree. Demonstrate a consistent pattern of continuing education to maintain clinical skills and active dental hygiene licensure. Clinical instruction, didactic, or pre-clinical laboratory instruction experience. Consideration for tenure-track requires a demonstrated record of scholarly/research activity within the application materials. Anticipated Hiring Range Rank and salary are commensurate with qualifications and experience. This is a 12-month, benefit-eligible, full-time (1.0) faculty appointment eligible for ranked promotion.
