We're opening a brand-new dental practice in St. Joseph, MO, and we're looking for an awesome dental assistant who wants to get in on the ground floor and help us build something great. This isn't just another dental assisting position. You'll have the opportunity to work alongside both a general dentist and a dual-trained pediatric dentist and orthodontist, so there will be plenty of variety and opportunities to learn and expand your skills.

STARTING SCHEDULE

Tuesday 8am

• 4pm Wednesday 8am
• 4pm Thursday 8am
• 4pm The position will initially be three days per week while we get the new office up and running, but we expect the practice to grow quickly and anticipate expanding this into a full-time position.

We want someone who is friendly, dependable, organized, and genuinely enjoys taking care of patients. Since this is a startup, we're especially interested in someone who is flexible, takes initiative, and likes the idea of helping build the culture and systems of a new office rather than simply walking into "the way we've always done things."

RESPONSIBILITIES

Chairside assisting for general dentistry Assisting with pediatric patients Assisting with orthodontic treatment Taking digital X-rays and intraoral images Sterilization and infection control Turning rooms and keeping the clinical day moving Helping maintain supplies and inventory Working closely with the doctors and team to create a great patient experience
