Job Overview Full-Time Dental Assistant Located in Lucedale, MS Monday through Thursday. Office closed on Fridays. Hours from 7:45 AM - 5:15 PM.

DAILY DUTIES

Chairside assisting during restorative procedures (composite and amalgam fillings), pediatrics, oral surgery, endodontics, crown and bridge, and removable dentures and partials. Taking radiographs, making temporary crowns, taking alginate impressions, pouring stone models, adjusting denture and partials, etc Adhering to infection control, HIPAA, and OSHA regulations Cleaning and sterilization of equipment and instruments Managing patient records using Eaglesoft, writing thorough and detailed notes for each procedure, entering treatment plants into charts, discussing finances with patients, obtaining patient consent for procedures, and reviewing medical histories.

REQUIREMENTS

Strong knowledge of dental terminology, tooth numbers, dental instruments, and dental equipment operation Ability to take PAs, BWs, and Panorex radiographs Understanding of sterilization and infection control procedures Ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages, especially in children Knowledge of dental documentation standards, including HIPAA compliance and the ability to handle confidential information discretely while maintaining professionalism Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment while maintaining attention to detail

Pay:

$15.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 per week
