Job Description

Benevis Dental seeks a Part-time Dental Assistant to support patient-centered care in a fast-paced clinical setting. You will prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and provide chairside assistance during exams and procedures. Responsibilities include taking x-rays, maintaining accurate patient records, and ensuring a welcoming, comfortable environment. Working closely with dentists and hygienists, you'll follow OSHA and HIPAA standards while helping optimize office workflows. Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to infection control standards Provide chairside assistance to dentists during exams and procedures Welcome patients, review medical histories, and ensure comfort throughout visits Capture and process dental x-rays and digital images as directed Maintain accurate patient records and assist with scheduling and follow-up Manage inventory of clinical supplies and support daily office readiness Follow OSHA, HIPAA, and practice safety protocols at all times Collaborate with clinical team to improve workflows and patient experience Required Skills Dental chairside assisting Infection control and sterilization Dental radiography/x-ray imaging Electronic dental records (EDR) Four-handed dentistry Instrument and operatory setup Patient intake and chairside communication Basic dental terminology and charting OSHA and HIPAA compliance Scheduling and front-office coordination
