Job Description

Elite Dental Center is a dental practice located in the heights of Billings. The job address is 2376 Main st. suite #812 Billing, MT 59105.
HOURS:
7:45AM-5:00PM, Tuesdays and Thursdays, and every other Friday We are committed to delivering exceptional dental care and prioritizes patient satisfaction and quality services. Elite Dental Center is a general dental office that sees patients with the doctor on Tuesdays and Thursdays weekly, and every other Friday. The company fosters a relaxing environment for it's patients, and emphasizes patient comfort. Job Description This is a part-time, on-site role for a Dental Assistant located in Billings, MT. The hours on Tuesday and Thursday, and every other Friday (when the single owner doctor is present and seeing patients) are 7:45AM-5:00PM . Although patients are only seen by the dentist on Tuesday and Thursday, the assistant will need to help with room setup , scheduling, sterilization, and cleaning on days that we don't see patients as needed (These are not full, 8-hour days) . These days would involve opportunity for limited hours, with the assistant (you) asked to come in and do inventory, clean the office, setup for clinical days, do maintenance (e.g. sterilizer spore tests, water line tests, help with scheduling, see patients for denture adjustments, etc . Previous assistants would be there for a few hours on these non-clinical days; this can be discussed at your interview. On clinical days (i.e. Tuesday,Thursday, and every other Friday ) the Dental Assistant will support the other staff and the dentist in providing high-quality dental services to patients. Responsibilities include cleaning , assisting with dental procedures, sterilizing instruments, scheduling, responding to phone and email communications, preparing treatment rooms, educating patients on oral care, and maintaining records and supplies. The role requires attention to detail, a proactive approach, and strong interpersonal skills. This job opportunity is for someone looking for a long term position with the company to become the main dental assistant for this office. The dentist will rely on you as one of the primary points of contact for managing the office and ensuring things run smoothly. There are two front office staff, one dentist, two other 'part time' assistants, and one dental lab technician that also work at this office. We are actively looking for a hygienist but have not found one yet. Please do not apply if you are planning on moving, unable to work the listed hours and days, or do not plan on working at the office for the foreseeable future. this job posting is looking for someone who wants a long term position with the office.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in Dental Assisting is a plus, but not required. on site training will be offered. Experience with sanitization and sterilization protocols and procedures are a plus but can be trained on the job. Excellent communication , positive attitude, teamwork, and reliability are the main traits that are required. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Focus on patient comfort , clear communication, and positive patient experience and satisfaction are major goals. X-ray certification, OHSA training, and CPR/First Aid certification are required but may be obtained after starting. pay range is $18-24 depending on experience and Dr's discretion. benefits include PTO, paid holidays, discounted major dental services for assistant and immediate family, and paid travel / food and lodging for continuing education. No health insurance or 401k is offered at this time .
