Travel Dental Assistant Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our healthcare team on a contract basis. 11/28/2026 key Responsibilities As a Dental Assistant, you will play an essential role in supporting dental providers and ensuring a smooth, efficient patient experience.
Responsibilities may include:
Assist dentists and other dental providers during examinations and procedures. Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and supplies. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment. Prepare patients for dental procedures and provide compassionate chairside support. Assist with dental instruments, equipment, and materials as needed. Take and prepare dental X-rays when appropriately trained and authorized. Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation. Follow infection-control, sterilization, and safety protocols. Provide patients with appropriate post-treatment instructions as directed by the provider. Monitor and maintain dental supplies and inventory. Support front-office or administrative functions when needed. Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and the healthcare team. Protect patient privacy and maintain confidentiality at all times. Requirements Previous Dental Assistant experience / required . Current certifications, licenses, or registrations required by the facility Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
