Job Description

Job Summary Why You'll Love Working at Tulip Dental At Tulip Dental, we believe dentistry is about more than teeth. We look at the whole person. Our approach to dentistry connects oral health with overall wellness, and we take the time to educate our patients, listen to their concerns, and help them make informed decisions about their health. That philosophy starts the moment a patient contacts us. As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will often be the first voice a patient hears and the first person they meet when they walk through our doors. You have the opportunity to set the tone for their entire experience. Our patients are looking for something different from traditional dentistry. They want to feel heard. They want their concerns taken seriously. They want to understand their options. And they want to know that the people caring for them genuinely care about their well-being. That's where you come in. If you are someone who loves people, takes pride in creating an exceptional patient experience, and wants to work somewhere that views dentistry as part of whole-body health, you may be exactly who we're looking for. What You'll Do Be a warm, welcoming first impression for every patient who calls or walks through our doors Greet patients by name and help them feel comfortable, expected, and cared for Answer phones, respond to patient questions, and help new patients take the next step in their care Schedule and manage appointments while keeping the day running smoothly for both patients and the clinical team Handle patient check-in, checkout, payments, and financial conversations with confidence, clarity, and compassion Communicate with doctors, hygienists, assistants, and other team members to ensure patients receive seamless care Help patients understand what to expect before, during, and after their appointments Follow up with patients and make sure questions or concerns don't fall through the cracks Protect patient privacy and maintain accurate, organized records Look for opportunities to make the patient experience easier, more comfortable, and more personal Help create an environment where patients feel genuinely valued—not rushed through an appointment Who Thrives at Tulip Dental? You may be a great fit if: You genuinely enjoy helping people and have a natural warmth that comes through in conversation You are calm, friendly, and confident—even when the phone is ringing and several things need your attention You are organized and detail-oriented. Names, appointments, messages, and follow-ups matter to you You communicate clearly and kindly, especially when discussing sensitive topics like treatment and finances You take initiative. When you see something that needs to be done, you don't wait to be asked You are curious and interested in learning about biological dentistry and the connection between oral health and whole-body wellness You understand that exceptional patient care is about more than completing a checklist You are a team player who wants the people around you to succeed You are comfortable learning new systems and taking ownership of your responsibilities Dental or front-office experience is a plus, but it isn't everything. We can teach systems and procedures. What we can't teach is genuine kindness, a desire to serve, curiosity, and the ability to make people feel cared for. What We Offer Full-time position with competitive wages A supportive team that believes in compassionate, personalized patient care The opportunity to learn about biological and holistic dentistry and the connection between oral health and overall wellness A practice focused on education rather than simply "fixing teeth" A workplace where your interactions with patients genuinely make a difference The opportunity to grow your skills and become an important part of a team that is changing the way patients experience dentistry At Tulip Dental, we believe exceptional dentistry starts with exceptional relationships. If you are looking for a position where you can use your organizational skills, your people skills, and your desire to make a difference every day, we would love to meet you.
