We're looking for someone who is confident in their dental assisting skills, communicates well with patients and coworkers, and takes pride in keeping the clinical day organized and running smoothly. Position Overview As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with our dentists and clinical team to provide high-quality, efficient patient care. You'll help patients feel comfortable and informed while ensuring treatment rooms, instruments, materials, and clinical workflows are prepared for each procedure. This position is a good fit for someone who enjoys being busy, takes initiative, pays attention to details, and works well as part of a team. Responsibilities Assist the dentist chairside during a variety of dental procedures Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, materials, and equipment before procedures Take high-quality dental radiographs and other clinical records as needed Welcome patients and help create a comfortable, professional experience Review procedures and post-treatment instructions with patients Support clear communication between patients, doctors, and other members of the dental team Clean, disinfect, sterilize, and maintain instruments and clinical equipment according to established protocols Turn over treatment rooms efficiently and maintain readiness throughout the day Maintain accurate and complete clinical documentation Anticipate the needs of the dentist and clinical team during procedures Help maintain an organized, clean, and efficient clinical environment Follow infection-control, safety, and patient-privacy standards Contribute to a positive, respectful, and team-oriented workplace What We're Looking For Previous dental assisting experience Strong chairside assisting skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A professional, friendly approach with patients Strong attention to detail and organization Dependability and a strong work ethic Ability to work efficiently in a busy clinical environment Willingness to learn new technology, procedures, and workflows A team-first attitude and willingness to help where needed Why Digital Dentistry of Montana?
