Job Description
Kootenai Dental is seeking a full time Dental Assistant to join our team. We prioritize high-quality patient care and take pride in fostering a supportive and team focused office culture. About the Position As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with our dental team to ensure that patients have a comfortable and efficient dental experience while delivering the BEST dental care possible. Key Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms by setting up instruments and materialsAssist the dentist during procedures, including chairside support and sterilization of instruments Take digital radiographs Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care All assistants share in both patient treatment and exams Maintain accurate patient records and document treatments Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and OSHA regulations Qualifications Team focused and positive attitude Strong communication and organizational skills Dental experience is a plus but we are willing to train the right person who fits our culture High school diploma or equivalent Benefits (full time) Health Insurance Paid Time Off 401(K) Employee Discount Office Hours Monday - Thursday 8a-5p (Patient time, 7:30-5:30 hours based off of office need) Pay $16-$21 per hour How to Apply If you are looking for an opportunity to make a difference and work with a team that feels like family, we encourage you to apply today!
