Job Description
## Overview We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent patient care and assisting dental professionals in delivering quality dental services. ## Duties
- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs
- Prepare patients for treatments or check-ups
- Take and develop dental X-rays
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with medical coding
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following procedures
- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Manage inventory of dental supplies ## Requirements
- Proficiency in dental terminology and procedures, including endodontics and general dentistry
- Knowledge of medical records systems such as Epic and experience with medical imaging
- Familiarity with anatomy, X-Ray procedures, and dental receptionist duties is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
