Full Job Description Now Hiring:
Pediatric Dental Assistant (Cross-Trained with Front Desk) Part-Time → Full-Time Growth Opportunity | $22-$26/hr Are you looking to grow with a modern, patient-centered pediatric dental practice from the ground up? We are a startup pediatric dental office focused on creating a fun, welcoming environment for children and families—while delivering high-quality, sedation-supported care when needed. We're looking for a motivated Dental Assistant who is excited to cross-train at the front desk and be part of a team that values growth, adaptability, and positive energy. What You'll Do Assist chairside in pediatric dental procedures Support sedation cases including: Nitrous oxide Oral conscious sedation In-office and outpatient surgery center cases (credentialing provided) Cross-train and support front desk duties (check-in/out, scheduling, patient communication) Help create a smooth, welcoming experience for patients and parents Grow with the practice as patient volume increases Requirements Active Dental Assistant credentials in North Carolina Current BLS certification (required) Coronal polishing and nitrous oxide monitoring certification (Preferred but must be obtained) Willingness to learn IV/Oral sedation protocols (comprehensive doctor-led training included Willingness to be trained for outpatient surgery center cases Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset Ideal Candidate 1+ year experience in a pediatric dental setting (preferred) Comfortable working with children and creating a positive experience Adaptable, dependable, and eager to learn Interested in growing into a long-term role as the practice expands Position Details Part-time to start , with clear path to full-time as patient population growsPay:
