Clinical About the Position We are looking for a reliable, friendly, and motivated Dental Assistant to join our dental team. The ideal candidate is a team player who enjoys working with patients, takes pride in providing excellent patient care, and is able to work efficiently in a dental office. Our Dental Assistant will work closely with the dentist and the rest of the clinical team to provide an outstanding experience for every patient while helping the practice operate smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms and dental instruments for patient care Assist the dentist during examinations, procedures, and dental treatments Take dental x-rays as permitted by applicable regulations Take and record patient medical and dental histories Prepare materials and instruments for restorative, surgical, and other dental procedures Assist with impressions, temporary restorations, and other clinical procedures as directed Maintain proper infection control and sterilization procedures Clean, disinfect, and set up treatment rooms between patients Maintain dental instruments and clinical equipment Provide patients with clear pre- and post-operative instructions as directed by the dentist Assist with patient comfort and help patients feel at ease during treatment Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Follow OSHA, HIPAA, infection control, and office safety protocols Communicate effectively with dentists, hygienists, front-office staff, and other team members Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional clinical environment Perform other duties as needed to support the dental team and practice Qualifications Previous dental assisting experience is preferred but not mandatory Dental assisting certification/credentials preferred as required by state regulations Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain on your own Knowledge of dental terminology and basic dental procedures Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Professional, positive, and compassionate demeanor Ability to multitask and remain organized in a busy environment Ability to work well independently and as part of a team Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn Commitment to patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience 4 days guaranteed Paid holidays Continuing education opportunities Employee dental benefits/discounts Supportive team environment Opportunities for professional growth Benefits and eligibility may vary based on employment status and length of employment.

$20.00 - $29.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 per week
