• Overview:

• We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess a passion for patient care and dentistry, with a strong knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.

• Duties:

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
• Coronal Polishing
• Prepare patients for dental work / communicate needs with Dr
• Take dental x-rays
• Manage patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and communicating care
• Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery and other dental treatment procedures
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health
• Set up and clean up of treatment rooms
• Sterilization (processing of instruments)

• Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited dental assistant program or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of dental terminology, infection control, and anatomy
• Coronal polishing certificate
