Job Description

Shine Orthodontics is looking for a part-time assistant to join our team!
Hours:
Monday, Tuesday 8 am -5 pm, Wednesdays and Fridays alternating 8 am -5 pm
Required:
An outgoing, friendly person who loves interacting with people of all ages! Minimum of one-year orthodontic experience, more preferred x-ray certified Must be reliable (at work on scheduled days and on time) Excellent attention to detail Can-do attitude and willingness to chip in where needed
Details of Position:
Meeting and greeting everyone who enters the office! Updating parents at each visit.
High-quality clinical care:
Knowledge and excellent technique for placing braces, wire changes, iTero scanning, impressions, fitting/cementing various banded appliances, clinical photos, pans, cephs, Invisalign attachments...
Lab:
pouring impressions and fabricating high-quality Essix retainers Assisting with the daily opening and closing of the office Help with front desk duties (confirming appointments, answering phones and emails, following up on patients that need appointments, verifying insurance, obtaining patient clearances for those ready to begin treatment.. Light office cleaning and disinfecting Help prepare for and attend up to 4 events per year, such as open house events and community fairs. These usually occur on evenings or weekends. Pitch in where needed! '
