Job Description
Dental Assistant II Rural Health Group is seeking a DA II for a full-time position to float between our Roanoke Rapids and Jackson dental clinics. Please note that this is a clinical position - this is NOT an administrative assistant position.
Details surrounding requirements of DAII are below. RHG offers a competitive salary, and full-time employees are eligible to participate in the following insurance plans: medical, dental, life, short term disability, long term disability. The company pays a significant amount towards medical insurance premium. We also offer a 403(b) retirement plan, with a company contribution that starts after 2 years of service. Must demonstrate the Rural Health Group Core Competencies, which include: Good Judgment Communication/Customer Service/Teamwork Passion Honesty Responsibility Job-Specific Skill Set - including knowledge, skills, and ability to fulfill the responsibilities of a Dental Assistant Requirements for DA II - Dental Assistant II Complete 7-hour (3 hours didactic, 4 hours clinical) course in coronal polishing. High school diploma or GED. Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a potentially stressful environment. Ability to apply common sense understanding when carrying out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to establish and maintain positive, effective, professional relationships with patients, providers, coworkers, and superiors. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. Able to work independently; excellent teamwork skills. Possess knowledge of modern office equipment, Microsoft Office software programs, and ability to efficiently learn eCW management system.
