Job Description

We are growing our long tenured team! Nebraska Dental Center is seeking a positive, friendly and proactive Dental Assistant with a strong work ethic! We are a private practice (not corporate or DSO) single dentist office with many long term employees. We believe in creating a work environment people want to be part of. We understand our greatest asset to our office and our patients are happy long-term employees, and we strive to make that a reality. We work Monday through Thursday, with dental assistants expected to be present from 7:30am to 4:20pm to prepare for the day and complete end of day tasks. The Dental Assistant will be responsible for: Providing a friendly, enjoyable atmosphere for patients and other staff Serving as a positive and helpful point of contact for current and prospective patients Assisting the doctor with procedures Answering patient questions Ensuring equipment is sterilized and rooms are set up appropriately Helping other staff as needed In addition to the benefits listed below, we offer 7 paid holidays and free dental care to you, your spouse, parents, grandparents, kids, and grandkids after a 90 day waiting period. Qualifications High school or equivalent (Required) X-Ray Certified (Preferred) Basic computer skills such as email, Microsoft Office, and text messaging systems (Required) Dental assisting experience: 1 year (Preferred) BLS/CPR Certification (Preferred) Coronal polishing (Preferred) Experience with Open Dental software (Preferred) Experience with Intra-Oral scanners (Preferred) Experience with CEREC (Preferred)
