The ideal candidate will support the clinical team by providing exceptional patient care, maintaining a sterile environment, and ensuring smooth daily operations. The Dental Assistant will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive dental services while adhering to all safety and confidentiality standards. Duties Assist the dentist during various procedures including chairside assisting and four-handed dentistry techniques Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available Take dental X-rays using medical imaging equipment Record patient vital signs and medical history accurately Manage patient records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical coding standards Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care Perform infection control procedures following aseptic techniques to prevent cross-contamination Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile clinical environment in accordance with infection control protocols Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing medical documentation, and coordinating with the dental reception team Qualifications Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role within a dental clinic setting Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques Ability to operate dental X-ray equipment and 3D dental scanners Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality at all times Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members Certification in radiography is required Join our team to provide exceptional dental care while advancing your professional skills in a supportive environment committed to excellence.
