Job Description
We are a well established dental office looking for a full time hybrid position consisting of chairside dental assisting and front office duties. Join our friendly team who pride themselves in providing quality family dental care. Our dental assistants are key members of our team who facilitate the relationship between our patients and dentists. Assisting responsibilities include but are not limited to: Prepare, breakdown, disinfect and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments Greet and prepare patients for dental treatment Collect and record medical and dental history Take digital radiographs and intra-oral pictures (x-ray certification required) Chairside assisting a variety of general dental procedures Educate and inform our patients on oral health and dental procedures Fabricate temporary restorations from preliminary impressions Front office responsibilities include but are not limited to: Answer incoming calls and answering inquiries Greet patients and register patients according to office protocols Ensure patient information is accurate Scan and send patient referrals Check patients out at the end of appointments Complete other clerical duties as assigned Safeguard patient privacy and confidentiality Skills Experience as a dental assistant Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods Understanding of health and safety regulations Good computer skills Organized and reliable If you would like to discuss this exciting opportunity in more detail, please send your resume and cover letter.
