In this role, you will be a key part of the clinical team, working chairside with dental providers to ensure efficient, safe, and respectful care for every patient. High Street, Nashua Schedule:

20-hour non-exempt/hourly position. This part-time position offers flexibility while maintaining consistency. Two regularly scheduled 8-hour days per week One additional flexible 4-hour shift Opportunities to pick up additional hours when providing coverage for team absences What You'll Do As a Dental Assistant, you will play an essential role in supporting efficient clinical operations and exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities include:

Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques Prepare and maintain operatories, instruments, and materials for patient care Take digital radiographs and support accurate patient documentation Ensure strict adherence to infection control and sterilization protocols (OSHA, CDC, ADA) Support patient flow, including seating, preparation, and communication during visits Perform dental lab tasks such as impressions and model preparation Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked clinical environment Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling and answering phones as needed Provide coverage for team absences as available You will also: Build positive and professional relationships with clients, staff, and community partners Maintain accurate and timely documentation, records, or reporting requirements Support Harbor Care's philosophy of care, mission, and organizational values in day-to-day work Please note: Duties and responsibilities may evolve based on organizational needs, funding requirements, and program operations. What We're Looking For High School Diploma or GED Dental assisting experience or formal training CPR certification Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with diverse populations Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of dental assisting experience Experience with Dentrix or Eaglesoft Bilingual (Spanish) preferred Experience working within nonprofit, healthcare, behavioral health, housing, human services, or community-based settings Harbor Care values diverse experiences and backgrounds.
