Job Description

Job Overview Join our dental team as a Dental Assistant and help provide excellent patient care while supporting our doctors during a variety of dental procedures. We are looking for a dependable, motivated team player who is eager to learn and work in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. Duties Prepare and break down treatment rooms and ensure all instruments and equipment are ready for procedures. Assist doctors with general and specialized dental treatments, including oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry. Take dental X-rays and 3D scans while following radiation safety and HIPAA guidelines. Maintain accurate patient records, medical histories, treatment notes, and post-treatment instructions. Sterilize and process dental instruments according to infection-control standards. Manage dental lab cases and inventory , keeping supplies organized and properly stocked. Provide friendly, professional support to patients and work effectively as part of a team. Qualifications Previous experience as a Dental Assistant preferred. Knowledge and experience assisting doctors with a variety of dental treatments and procedures . Ability to take and process dental X-rays as required. Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, procedures, and clinical protocols . Experience with setting up and breaking down treatment rooms efficiently and maintaining an organized clinical environment. Responsible for sterilization and proper infection-control procedures in accordance with office and safety standards. Ability to prepare, organize, track, and manage dental lab cases . Assist with inventory management , including monitoring supplies, organizing materials, and notifying the appropriate staff when supplies need to be reordered. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace . Must be a team player with a positive attitude and willingness to support coworkers and the doctors. Willingness to learn new procedures, techniques, and office systems. Dependable, professional, punctual, and able to work well in a fast-paced dental office environment . Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to providing a positive patient experience
Pay:
$20.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 25.0 per week
