Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing dental instruments, setting up necessary equipment, and ensuring all tools meet infection prevention management standards. Take dental x-rays and medical imaging using advanced equipment such as 3D scanners while adhering to dental sterilization procedures and aseptic techniques. Manage patient records accurately using patient management software (Dentrix ascend) ensuring compliance with HIPAA and clinical confidentiality policies. Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures and ensuring patients feel comfortable throughout their visit. Support dental reception duties by scheduling appointments, managing medical documentation, and coordinating patient flow efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment by processing dental instruments, sterilizing equipment, and following infection control protocols diligently. Requirements Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar dental clinic setting with knowledge of dental terminology and clinical procedures. Proficiency in EMR systems for managing electronic health records effectively. Strong understanding of infection prevention management, sterilization procedures, aseptic techniques, and healthcare infection control expertise. Ability to perform dental x-ray procedures accurately while maintaining safety standards for patients and staff. Knowledge of dental equipment operation including chairside assisting tools, dental instruments, 3D scanners, and medical imaging devices. Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with patients of all ages, including pediatric dentistry cases. Certification in X-ray techniques preferred Ability to follow clinical confidentiality policies strictly while managing sensitive medical records and documentation.
