Overview Join our dynamic dental team as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA), where your expertise will directly enhance patient care and support our mission to deliver exceptional dental services. In this vital role, you will assist dentists during procedures, manage patient flow, and ensure the highest standards of infection control and clinical efficiency. Responsibilities Assist dentists chairside during a variety of dental procedures, including general dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry. Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment following strict infection prevention management protocols. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-ray), including dental x-ray and 3D scanner imaging, ensuring patient safety and compliance with HIPAA regulations. Manage patient records using patient management software such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar EMR systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in accordance with clinical confidentiality policies. Provide excellent patient management by explaining procedures, answering questions about dental terminology, and ensuring comfort throughout visits. Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment by adhering to infection control standards and dental sterilization procedures. Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient flow as a dental receptionist, and handling medical records with precision. Requirements Valid certification as a Registered Dental Assistant with current licensure or registration where applicable. Proven experience in dental assisting within a clinical setting, preferably with exposure to general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, or prosthodontics. Proficiency with dental equipment including X-ray machines, 3D scanners, and other clinical tools; familiarity with Dentrix or Eaglesoft is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control protocols aligned with healthcare infection prevention and control expertise. Ability to perform chairside assisting using four-handed dentistry techniques efficiently. Experience with medical imaging techniques and aseptic technique to ensure safety for both patients and staff. Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with patients and team members while maintaining clinical confidentiality policies. $27.00 - $40.00 per hour Expected hours: 25.0 - 40.0 per week
