Job Overview Come join our upscale Pediatric Dental practice located in downtown Montclair, NJ. Searching for a motivated and eager-to-learn Dental Assistant with a passion for the dental field to join our team. The ideal candidate will support our Dentist and Hygienist in delivering excellent patient care, efficient flow of procedures and maintain an organized clinic. Good communications skills, positive attitude and ability to work well with children is a must! Hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9am-5:30pm Duties Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow. Take medical imaging, including X-rays.
Treatment room preparation:
Stocking, Sterilizing, and Setting up treatment rooms. Maintaining inventory in hygiene rooms Computer knowledge preferred Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment before and after use. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control standards within the dental clinic. Requirements Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role within a dental clinic setting BUT willing to train the right candidate. Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and equipment, including X-ray capabilities. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. The ideal candidate must be punctual, organized, and professional. Ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
