Job Description

Job description: We are a thriving pediatric dental office in the Montclair area looking at add an enthusiastic, professional Dental Receptionist and Administrative Assistant to our team. We are looking for a talented individual who is looking to build a career in the dental industry.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform receptionist duties, including managing incoming calls, taking messages, responding to emails, and greeting clients.
  • Efficiently process customer payments and accurately post transactions in our system.
  • Undertake data entry tasks and maintain precise patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
  • Review, manage, and respond to insurance claims and correspondence, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Proactively handle various tasks and projects as assigned by the business owner, adapting to changing priorities.
  • Maintain meticulous office records and organize documentation for easy access and reference.
  • Identify and solve problems proactively to enhance office efficiency and workflow.
  • Assist in a range of administrative tasks to support the team and ensure smooth business operations.
  • Maintain office supplies and inventory, and place orders as necessary
Skills:
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficient in file management and record keeping
  • Attention to detail for proofreading documents
  • Excellent customer service skills with a professional phone etiquette
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience in a medical receptionist or medical office setting is a plus
  • Familiarity with order entry systems is preferred This position requires strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
The ideal candidate will be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently. A positive attitude and the ability to work well in a team environment are essential.
