Duties Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental tools, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly in accordance with aseptic technique and infection control protocols. Assist dentists chairside during various procedures such as restorations, extractions, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry, providing necessary instruments and materials promptly. Operate dental X-ray equipment and take diagnostic radiographs in accordance with applicable regulations and clinical protocols. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, post-treatment care instructions, and answer questions related to dental terminology or procedures to foster trust and understanding. Maintain a clean, organized clinic environment by following infection control standards and ensuring all clinical areas meet regulatory requirements for safety and hygiene. Requirements A valid dental X-ray license/certification is required. No prior experience as a Dental Assistant is required, but experience or knowledge of general dentistry procedures is preferred.
