Job Summary Large multi-specialty group practice looking for a part-time dental assistant to join our fun practice and work in our oral surgery department.
A CDA/RDA
is preferred , Radiology certificate is a must . Will provide training and guidance to facilitate a smooth transition into our team efficiency approach. Office is state-of-the-art with new equipment and beautiful employee facilities. Compensation is very competitive based off experience, certifications, and value to office. Benefits include holidays, vacation and PTO.

$26.00 - $32.00 per hour Expected hours: part-time (Tuesdays 7:30am-5pm and 1 Saturday a month 7:30am-2pm)
Work Location:
In person Responsibilities Assist dentists during procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow. Utilize 3D scanners for imaging and assist in the creation of dental prosthetics. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available. Take and record vital signs of patients as needed. Maintain infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff. Provide chairside assistance during various dental procedures. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Perform administrative duties such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records as needed. Collaborate with the dental receptionist to ensure efficient patient flow within the clinic. Requirements Proven experience in Dental Assisting . New Jersey Dental Radiology License Familiarity with infection control standards and procedures within a dental clinic setting. Ability to take vital signs and understand their importance in patient care. Proficiency in using dental equipment including 3D scanners is a plus. Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient interaction and education. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. Certification in Dental Assisting or relevant qualifications is preferred.
