Department:
Workforce Development - Instructional Job Summary Instruct continuing professional education non-credit courses in one or more of the following topics ranging from statistics, Excel, R and/or Python coding, Tableau, data analysis, machine learning, Microsoft Power BI, deep learning, big data, etc. Responsibilities include creating and teaching courses in your area of subject matter expertise. Class schedules may include day, evening or weekends. Qualifications - Education Bachelor's Degree in a Quantitative Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics-related field; Computer Science and Statistics preferred. Professional designations or certifications in subject matter desired. Qualifications - Experience 3+ years' experience using various software applications in a business/corporate environment at an advanced level. Proficiency in statistical computing and/or programming in R and/or Python. Experience/extensive knowledge in R or Python data analysis. Demonstrated experience/knowledge of Statistics and Data Analytics from both theoretical and applied perspectives. Experience delivering training/teaching to adult learners desired. Corporate training experience helpful. Experience with video conferencing tools. (i.e. Zoom) Qualifications - Skills Prefer prior post-secondary classroom teaching experience. Excellent communication skills. Industry certification appropriate for course(s) you wish to teach. Work Hours Class schedules may include day, evening or weekend schedules.
