Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, maintaining strict infection control and aseptic techniques. Take X-Rays Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy. Manage patient records using EMR systems such as Open Dental, updating medical documentation accurately. Excellent Computer Skills Measure vital signs and monitor patient comfort throughout procedures. Support administrative tasks by functioning as a dental receptionist when needed, including scheduling appointments and reviewing treatment plans. Operate advanced dental technology like 3D scanners. Taking Intra-Oral Photos Packing Retraction Cord Fabricating Temporaries Taking Impressions and pouring models Making chair side appliances such as occlusal guards and retainers. Delivery of post-op instructions Qualifications Valid NJ Registered Dental Assistant license with current certification. Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment. Familiarity with EMR systems such as Open Dental Strong understanding of infection control protocols, aseptic technique, and sterilization procedures. Ability to perform X-ray procedures safely while adhering to all safety standards. Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to dentistry. Excellent communication skills.
Pay:
$30.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 - 40.0 per week
