We are seeking a highly motivated, dependable, and enthusiastic Part-Time Dental Assistant to join our new, state-of-the-art pediatric dental practice.

Our goal is simple:

to make every child and parent feel comfortable, cared for, and leave our office smiling. We are looking for a team member who is friendly, positive, energetic, and genuinely enjoys working with children and their families. The ideal candidate will have previous dental assisting experience and be comfortable performing a wide range of clinical and administrative responsibilities in a fast-paced pediatric dental environment. Responsibilities Provide chairside assistance to dentists and dental hygienists during pediatric dental procedures. Prepare, sterilize, organize, and set up dental instruments and equipment. Ensure all dental instruments are properly cleaned, dated, packaged, and processed according to office protocols and infection-control standards. Follow and help maintain infection-control procedures in accordance with OSHA, CDC, and ADA guidelines . Monitor and maintain dental equipment, including compressors, evacuation systems, radiographic equipment, sterilizers, and light-curing units, according to manufacturer guidelines. Take, develop, and process dental radiographs in accordance with provider orders. Follow established radiation safety procedures and protocols. Complete accurate dental charting and documentation. Maintain and monitor inventory of dental and office supplies. Order supplies and assist with inventory control and management. Assist with the prevention and management of dental medical emergencies. Maintain current knowledge of dental clinical procedures, protocols, and best practices. Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and welcoming clinical environment. Provide exceptional care and a positive experience for our pediatric patients and their parents. Qualifications & Requirements Current X-Ray/Radiology Certification

•Required Previous dental assisting experience preferred. Knowledge of dental assisting procedures and infection-control protocols. Ability to take and process dental radiographs. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Positive, friendly, and professional attitude. Comfortable and enthusiastic about working with children. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Reliable, responsible, and highly motivated.

Monday:

8:30 AM

•6:00

PM Tuesday:

10:00 AM

•5:00

PM Thursday:

8:30 AM

•6:00 PM Two Saturdays per month: 8:30 AM
