Job Overview Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Assistant and become a vital part of delivering exceptional oral healthcare! In this energetic role, you will support dentists and hygienists by preparing treatment areas, assisting during procedures, and ensuring patient comfort and safety. Your expertise in clinical procedures, infection control, and dental technology will help create a positive experience for every patient. Duties Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental tools, and ensuring all equipment is functional and ready for procedures Assist dentists during a variety of treatments including restorative, endodontics, oral surgery, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry procedures Take high-quality dental x-rays and operate digital imaging equipment such as 3D scanners while adhering to radiation safety protocols Manage patient records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Eaglesoft, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations Perform chairside assisting with four-handed dentistry techniques to improve efficiency and patient comfort Monitor vital signs and assist in medical documentation when necessary for comprehensive patient care Follow strict infection prevention management and aseptic techniques to maintain clinical confidentiality policies and ensure a sterile environment Qualifications Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar dental clinic setting with knowledge of general dentistry procedures (willing to train the right person) Proficiency with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft for managing medical records and documentation Certification in dental x-ray technology and experience with dental sterilization procedures and infection control standards preferred but not necessary. Will train the right person Ability to perform dental instrument processing efficiently while maintaining clinical confidentiality policies Knowledge of healthcare infection prevention and control expertise, including aseptic technique and infection prevention management Embark on a rewarding career where your skills make a difference! Pay:
$25.50 - $30.71 per hour
