Full Job Description Duties:
  • Assist the dentist during dental procedures
  • Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
  • Take and develop dental x-rays
  • Prepare materials for impressions and restorations
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
  • Perform basic laboratory tasks such as pouring models and trimming trays
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
  • Schedule patient appointments and manage patient flow
  • Assist with front office tasks such as answering phones and verifying insurance
Experience:
  • Previous experience as a dental assistant preferred
  • Knowledge of CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software for dental restorations is a plus
  • Familiarity with medical documentation and coding systems (e.g., Epic)
  • Experience working with pediatric patients is desirable
  • Ability to perform patient assessments and take accurate medical histories As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting the dentist in providing quality dental care to our patients.
