As a Chairside Dental Assistant in our general dentistry practice, you'll play a vital role in patient education and contribute to a smooth, efficient workflow. Compensation:
$18 - $24 hourly
Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, ensuring patient comfort and efficiency. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment, maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote long-term dental health. Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays) with precision and care. Manage patient records and documentation accurately, ensuring confidentiality and compliance. Schedule appointments and manage patient flow to optimize the daily schedule. Collaborate with the dental team to create a welcoming and supportive environment for patients and staff alike.
Qualifications:
Experience in assisting dentists during various procedures, ensuring patient comfort and operational efficiency. Ability to prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment, maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Proven track record of educating patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Competence in taking and developing dental radiographs (x-rays) with precision and care. Strong skills in managing patient records and documentation accurately, ensuring confidentiality and compliance. Experience in scheduling appointments and managing patient flow to optimize the daily schedule. Ability to collaborate effectively with the dental team to create a welcoming and supportive environment for patients and staff alike.
