The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our orthodontic team. This position involves assisting with various orthodontic procedures, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining a well-organized clinical environment. Duties Assist the orthodontist during procedures, including the placement and adjustment of braces and other orthodontic appliances. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with safety protocols. Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Utilize 3D scanning technology to capture accurate impressions for treatment planning. Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment progress. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Manage patient flow within the office. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a smooth workflow and high-quality patient care. Skills Proficiency in using 3D scanners and familiarity with digital imaging techniques. Dental X-ray license required Strong understanding of anatomy as it relates to dental health. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred but not mandatory.
