Rio Grande Orthodontics is looking to add an Orthodontic Assistant to our team to work 2- 3 days a week in Los Alamos for a part time position. Help us create beautiful smiles and build people's confidence every day in a positive atmosphere! We are looking for someone who loves people and finds fulfillment in helping others. Our office is a fun and fast-paced atmosphere. Finger dexterity, good hand-to-eye coordination, attention to detail, and the ability to work its part of a team are crucial skills for the position. Experience is not required, we are willing to train the right person.

Duties and responsibilities include:

making the patient feel important and special, taking impressions of teeth, taking x-rays, changing out wires and brackets, writing up notes in patient charts, giving oral hygiene instructions, and sterilizing instruments and equipment. Experience is not required. We can train you on the job. Starting pay is $15-$22 per hour depending on experience.
